At the beginning of the year, Hisense brand introduced the world's first smartphone equipped with a color display on electronic ink. Today it became known about the release of the device in China on April 23.
The smartphone will be demonstrated at a China Digital Cloud 2020 briefing. The highlight of the new product is the E Ink color display. Despite the fact that electronic ink appeared in e-books a long time ago, this is the first time among smartphones.
According to the manufacturer, the E Ink color screens have a high frame rate, due to which the image on them is perceived better. Since the screen does not emit light, prolonged reading does not harm the eyes.
