Self-isolation gadget: Huawei's premium tablet is a bestseller

In just a few days - from April 8 to 11 - Russian buyers placed more than 1000 prepaid orders for the new premium tablet Huawei MatePad Pro, which is a full-fledged and at the same time supercompact workstation. It turned out to be exactly the device that, with universal isolation, had to be in time and place.

Sleek and durable body, stylish design, 90% front panel screen - Huawei MatePad Pro, like other high-end tablets, is nice to pick up. And also to remove from a purse or briefcase (even if this is temporarily irrelevant) and put on a shelf at home (but this is very important). This is the first device from Huawei in the category of premium tablets, so the manufacturer tried not only to catch up, but also to overtake competitors in terms of equipment. For the first time in tablets of this brand, wireless and reverse wireless charging have appeared. One is for convenience (without a web of wires on the table), the second clearly hints at a very capacious battery. Now you can charge smartphones, smart watches, earphones and similar peripherals from a device weighing only 460 grams.

To get a full-fledged workplace based on a tablet, two more important things are needed. The first is a proprietary keyboard-cover: in the Huawei lineup, of course, it is available, like the M-Pencil stylus for creating graphics. The second one is software: here a pre-installed office suite is available for users, different modes of working with applications (the ability to open three applications at once on one screen or split one application into two windows), as well as the Huawei AppGallery company store, the third most popular in the world ( more than 400 million monthly active users). It has both foreign and Russian software for all occasions. Using the “Multiscreen” function of Huawei Share, you can connect a compatible smartphone to the tablet and use one device instead of two. This means that the phone can be in your pocket,

The cost of the Huawei MatePad Pro is 44,990 rubles for the device in the Wi-Fi version and 49900 for the LTE version. The price tag puts the device in a category where there is quite strong competition from traditional manufacturers of such gadgets. From a newcomer to this sector, not only courage is required, but also really good characteristics. Judging by the volume of pre-order, Huawei's debut in this market segment may be successful. At least, the moment of entering the market - when everyone needs a compact workstation for remote work - turned out to be optimal.
